The Problem

The CFO of a Fortune 150 company was concerned that a large SAP-enabled business transformation project was projected to cost twice the original estimate. The CFO had lost confidence in the project team, IT organization, systems integrator, and wanted an independent assessment of the project and a plan to turn it around and make it successful.

The Engagement

Brand Velocity (BV) was engaged first to perform a Project Acceleration Audit to share with the company’s board of directors to ensure that the project had a plan for success before proceeding with any further investment. BV rapidly assessed the project and recommended a new approach which accelerated the project and cut costs dramatically. The company then engaged BV to support a new project lead to implement these recommendations and keep the project on course.

The Result
